Sealing
We also have different sealing materials if it needs to be waterproof and gas-tight. The most commonly used are polyethylene foam and cellular rubber. Can be cut or formed into almost any shape. The closed-cell nature of the foam ensures that it has ideal properties for thermal insulation and/or airtight sealing.
Thermal insulation
Various foams have insulating properties, such as closed-cell polyethylene foams, but also specials such as phenolic foam (Basotect) and polyurethane sealfoam. These foams often also have high temperature resistance, good fire-retardant class and insulating properties (K value).
