ECOfoams
UXEM is your innovative partner in custom foams. Our environmentally friendly foaming method is based on a revolutionary vacuum overprint technique. Our special polyurethane foams (PU) consist of 25 to more than 50% natural raw materials. This bio-based content is very important for the future of the foam industry and its uses. We can also foam recycled content into our formulas, up to 35%, which means we can also supply materials for the packaging industry that meet the requested blending targets.
Circularity
All foams produced and/or processed at UXEM are largely recycled into so-called 'rebonded foams', both in PU and PE as well as a combination of these. We find circularity very important and will be investing in this in the coming years, including by running so-called pilots, in which we are testing with customers whether to also accept post-consumer foam materials for reuse/recycling purposes. Together with the entire chain, we contribute to ultimately 100% circularity.
