At UXEM, circularity is central. By largely recycling our foams into so-called 'rebonded foams', we are taking major steps in making our products and processes more sustainable. Whether it concerns polyurethane (PU), polyethylene foams (PE) or combinations thereof, we strive for a future in which 100% circularity is the norm. Together with our partners in the chain, we work on innovative solutions, such as pilots to reuse post-consumer foam materials.
Recycled foam is processed into rebonded foams, which have a wide range of applications. Think of filling for sports and games products, insulation materials, protection, packaging, anti-drumming and as a raw material for technical foams.
Our circular foam products find their way into the construction sector, where they are used for thermal and sound insulation. The use of recycled materials reduces waste and contributes to a more sustainable construction process.
UXEM develops packaging materials from recycled foam (or recycled raw materials) that not only meet technical requirements, but also contribute to a reduced environmental impact.

Rebonded foams are made from recycled polyurethane foam. They are pressed and bonded into new materials that can be used in many ways, for example in insulation or sports products.
